I'm currently in training and there are many non-US citizens in my week long course in Chicago. I have had a few observations and general comments:
1. I feel slow because I only know 1 language. Ok, I was one course shy of a minor in spanish but by no means am I close to fluent. Other countries are so far ahead.
2. There are vast differences in the way different cultures handle group situations. The 'US' people in my group handle the tasks carefully but forcefully. The other resources are all about doing and not really processing all the data.
3. There are too many smells going on in one room. (I have an uber sensitive nose)
Back to work, TBD...
